Back to the grind!

Well this month i only played the 1st week but started good spliting in HU an $11 freezout on sunday for almost 7k iirc, the 2nd week was the LAPT so i didnt played any online poker ended up even for the series (losing $100 lol).

That week was really fun and exciting i met a lot of mtt pros and we hang out all week eating in good restaurants, going partying and nightclubs so much degeneracy for 1 week to me because i have a quiet and calm personality lolol. After all that we bought our tickets to Cuzco for Semana Santa, we stayed there 4 days (19th - 23)

The 1st day (Wednesday) we arrived at 8am in cuzco we went to Pariwana hostel to look for our beds and sleep until 2pm to watch Real Madrid - Barcelona, however our room would be set until 1pm so we crashed in the TV room in some pillows in the floor, after a while some random fat woman enter the room and turned on the TV making a lot of noise was really annoying b*tch.
After the sleep interrupted we went to the bar to watch the soccer match, it was a really exciting game, remember clearly that only 2 guys and me were cheering for Real Madrid so went they score at the end all the bar was really quiet and only us screaming hahaha. Later we have to took a 2 hour drive to Ollantaytambo to take the train to Aguas Calientes so we can go to Machu Picchu at 8am.

Thursday at 7 am we took the bus to Machu Picchu and met the guide, i really loved to be there again since 2006, we all had a really good time walking and climbing there.

 I think everyone really enjoyed and was worth the long trip we have too take, and the shitty hostel in Aguas Calientes, later that day we went to the thermal waters to relax and then take a few beers and get some sleep to return to Cuzco next day at 8 am.

Then in Cuzco we just went around the city to mmet the places and bars, was really cool but everything normal there, we didnt made the "Valle Sagrado" city tour because everyone was really tired after Machu Picchu and the trip back.             In the pic from left to right: Bryan (czar), Andrew, Marty (thelipofund), me and Joe. Gustavo, friend from Peru, didnt went to Machu Picchu he stayed in Cuzco.

This post is getting tl;dr so we went back to Lima on Sunday at 9am, i wished all a really good back trip to USA and went to my house, slept like 2 hours and then played some poker obv i ended up shipping the $22+r in stars for the 2nd time :)

Btw i tried to made the video about my $11 freezout win but my pc is freezing in the video so i guess ill only upload the hands in the pokerstrategy forum.

Quick update

Sup guys, sorry i didnt have time to write before i was playing LAPT Peru i busted in day1 in the 150/300/25 level the hand is in 2+2 http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/87/high-stakes-mtt/2500-lapt-decision-ak-1020590/   I felt really bad because i had a los of expectations for the tournament and i felt i was playing my best poker just 1 tabling, pying attention to every hand but w/e. After busting i ended up playing a side event $300 bounty wich i was lucky enough to make the final table ended up 7th and winning $1200 i was pissed off that i couldn win, just 2 people in the table were good, but i was card dead for a while and my shoves getting called so GG.
I also played the $1000 second chance but busted in 6 hours so no big cashes for me this year :(
I met in Lima a lot of mtt players (renrad 01,the czar, lipofund, ratsauce89) we're having the best time here, going to 5 stars restaurants every day and going partying at nights, really good huh. I think is kind of funny how do we battle each other in internet in lots of tournaments and we're friends in real life lolol.

And about the poker online now being ilegal in USA  im really concerned about the grinders, just imagine that 1 day u woke up and u cant work, the thing u use to do to make money is gone. Im always really gratefull for being able to make something i love and learn with hard work to make a living off, so i kinda know how this people fell when poker was considered ilegal, i really hope so this problem to get fixed in 1 month prob.
Also i think this will have a positive effect in my game since most of the % of americans were grinders and pros and now they're gone so i cant complain.

Oh btw im going to cuzco in monday with the mtt'ers so ill update when im there and im also making the video of an $11 that i won like 1 month ago! so keep checking up for updates.

March Recap

So the end of the best month of my career! what else can i say, was really nice to caught a heater after feb downswing.
Is funny because i wasnt supposed to play the last sunday of the month, but due to a cancellation of plans i could grind another sunday and get my biggest cash to date! final tabling the Turbo Takedown, was really crazy making the final table out of 60 000 people prob, even i had only 1BB after losing a flip with 66 vs JQ but after that just won all the hands lol, also was really dissapointing that i didnt win it because i started the final table as the chipleader, i played really aggro in the two final tables because no one wanted to bubble out and the stacks were really shallow (10-25BB) so i could just open shove or resteal the medium stacks. About the bustout hand, i think in retrospective ill shove again, but ill give more thought than i did when i was in the final table, there was only 1 guy shorter than me and i dont think zugwang was going to call me that loose prob unfortunatly he was on top of his range with 88 and i couldnt get the AUDI TT :(
Before this 5 figure score march was being my best month so it ended up as a super month! lol
This gave more confidence to make the transition to the mtts, ill be grinding on 3 sites this month (Pokerstars, Full Tilt and PartyPoker)  my goal is to be able to grind on 6 sites like some of the top mtt pros, ill be looking to add UltimateBet and AbsolutePoker in the near future, but first i need to buy a 30'' monitor for that and prob buy another PC.

And about month, i started with a $3k downswing but shipped an mtt to turn it back i'll be making a hand review in my next update, prob a video in spanish for the pokerstrategy community.
