This year results

February is being a bad month, i started with a downswing in the SNGs and my lack of volume isnt helping either, as for the mtts the problem is that im running like shit in the higher buy ones ($215 sunday million and other big mtts) which i think is normal because the fields are really big compared to the turbo mtts.
I've only played 2000 games this month ill try to get into 2500 games with only 6 days left.

So my profit this month is -887 but i use a supernova bonus of $1500 so im up $600 nice! lol
Last 2 days i'd been playing only mtts so that explain the last games of my graph.

January was a really good month i played 4700 games, started really good but my consistency in the games grindind day after day let turn out a $3000 downswing in the higher stakes sngs, i also started mixing turbo mtts in every session and did really good. Here the graph:

I ended up making $7000 in the games and making enough fpps to get the $4000 bonus so i get a good profit of $11 000 in january Really good!!!

I thought this month was going to be the same but my lazyness is my worst enemy ill try to put some volume this days and see if i can bink a mtt or something! im going to put a lot of volume in mtts this last days of the month wish me luck!

Hi my name is Gerardo im 21 years old im a student of engineering in Peru.
I started playing poker 2 years ago i used to play for fun with friends in homegames and some $1 sngs in pokerstars in 2009, late in 2009 i realized i could make money playing in online poker i learned by the hardway cause i didnt know anyone who can teach, later i discovered 2+2 forums that helped me a lot, so i started grinding in late 2009 $6.5 sngs and did well then i had a good bankroll for the start of 2010 to play $16 (100 buy ins). 2010 was the year when i take it more seriously, i started the year playing $16 9 mans but then i move to 18 mans because they are easy to mo to multitable, here some graphs:

I moved to this format in late March 2010 i think i did really well and moved up

I also did really well in this stake is prob were i get the better results, i was confident in my game so i keep moving in stakes mixing the buy ins.

Here is where my nightmare started i run really hot for the first 500 games then i struggle with variance plus the fact that this games are tougher to beat with so many good players in it

Also breaking even in this games i was doing ok, but in late 2010 the games got really tough a lot of good players were trying to complete their milestones (cash bonuses from pokerstars) and make the games really   -ev, thats how i learned the importance of table selection

Overall i did really well in 2010 for being my 1st year playing poker seriously

In the graph u can see the big downswing in the end caused by the reg infested games in december but i made 300 000 VPPs that year that is about $22 000 in rakeback from pokerstars

So overall i made about $44 000 playing pokers in my 1st year really good!! but could be better if i had better discipline to stay away from tough games like im doing now.
